About My JSON Editor

My JSON Editor is a JSON editor, viewer and converter that runs entirely in your browser. Open a file, paste a response or load one from a URL, and work with it in whichever form reads best.

What it does

• Four views of one document: Code, Tree, Table and Graph, side by side in two panes.
• Compare two documents, and Repair one that does not parse: trailing commas, comments, single quotes, a JSON answer wrapped in prose.
• Convert between JSON and YAML, XML and CSV, and from JSON to TSV, Markdown tables and SQL.
• Generate types and schemas in ten targets: TypeScript, Zod, JSON Schema, Python, Go, Rust, Java, Kotlin, Swift and C#.

Why it exists

JSON is often an API response, a configuration file or an export that should not leave your machine. Here it does not have to. Every operation happens in your browser, and there is no server that receives your documents: no uploads, no accounts, no cookies and no analytics. Validation, repair, conversion and code generation use no third-party libraries, and once a page has loaded it keeps working without a connection. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is and is not stored, and how to check it for yourself.

It is also built to stay responsive on large documents, and to say where a parse fails rather than simply refusing the text.
