The service

My JSON Editor is a free tool for viewing and editing JSON in your browser. It is provided as-is. No account is required and no payment is taken.

Your data is your responsibility

Because the application runs entirely on your device, your documents are never in our custody — and equally, we cannot recover them for you. The editor keeps your current document in your browser's local storage as a convenience, not as a backup. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. Clearing your browser data, switching devices, or using private browsing will remove it.

No warranty

The service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the tool will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any transformation it performs will suit your purpose. You are responsible for verifying output before relying on it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this tool, including loss of data or loss of profits.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site to break the law, and do not attempt to disrupt it for other people. Beyond that, there are no restrictions on what you edit — we have no way of knowing, and no interest in knowing.
